When you do vocal toning, you are using this instrument with your voice (whether it sounds good or not) to create tonal vibrations into the resonant chambers of your body.
As a result of this toning and creating resonant vibrations in your body, it activates your body's subtle energy system.
Sound healing through the use of bells, bowls, tuning forks, sound table or as done by a person who tones into the chakras or other parts of the body, by using their voice are all wonderful forms of vibrational sound healing. These sounds can cut through energetic blocks and stagnant energy.
This process of using these forms of toning can open the way for a more balanced and healed state of being.

What energetic modalities and sound tools are used depends on the person's intention of wanting and receiving the session. After the person states what they want to change (intention), they are asked to relax, and allow the process of receiving the sound and vibration within their present state.
The intention is to allow the sound to move, release and transmute the unwanted energy. It is not unusual that many individuals may fall asleep or keep a rhythmic breathing pattern that allows transformation to take place.
Toning and sound healing balances the left and right hemisphere of the brain. The tones are energetically encoded with emotion and energy. The specific sound is toned in the corresponding resonant chamber in your body and projected into your psyche for healing. This activates and helps to release hormones, endorphins and other neural chemicals into the body.
The session usually lasts one hour. Other energy modalities such as Reiki, the Acutonics Tuning Forks and the Cymatron Sound Table can be incorporated into our sound healing and toning session.
